Minimize Signal Reflection with RF Terminators
| TechnologyMachine buildingTE Connectivity
An RF (radio frequency) terminator is typically placed at the end of a transmission line and is designed to match the cable’s AC impedance. They are used to close an open end of a cable and form an endpoint for a signal. Using RF terminators minimizes signal reflection going back into the circuit or system. An RF signal that is reflected back into the cable can cause interference or power loss. Our portfolio of RF terminators is commonly used in communications, defense, and test and measurement applications.
