CCS-Charging plug for electric vehicles
The CCS charging plug (Combined Charging System) is based on the Type 1 and Type 2 plug system and has an extension with two additional poles. This enables charging with both direct and alternating current.
Developed specifically for the European market, TE Connectivity's charging inlets are now available as a CCS version with several options in addition to the AC version. These meet IEC 62196-2 and IEC 62196-3 standards and specifications. Integrated locking devices and temperature sensors developed by TE Connectivity ensure improved performance and reliability.
